Take a Walk on the Wild Side!

So awesome--my Black Cat card set is featured in a treasury on Etsy!! You can check it out here!!

Our friend the Hawk

Had a visitor the other night during dinner! What a site! He landed on our deck, just outside the dining room...couldn't resist sneaking to my camera. Thought this would be a great lead in to introduce you to one of my new favorite blogs to follow: http://www.cindylusmuse.blogspot.com/

Check it out! ;)

Fishing at Sunset series...

The buyer of the original "Fishing at Sunset" (above, center) requested two more pieces to coordinate with it...here they are! It was a challenge to create these two, considering I had to base it off of pictures of the original (which is happy in it's new home!) combined with the fact that it has been many years since I had painted it!

Right Around the Corner

We'll be seeing scenery like this before you know it! Good because the colors are amazing but bad because it only means winter in northern Illinois is inching closer.

Autumn Tree gouache 7.5"x10"
My first try at gouache...semi-successful I think. Different than working with watercolor.

Autumn Pond watercolor 7.5"x10"
Good old watercolor...

Toews Time-Lapse

Attempt #1 at a time-lapse drawing!

For Fun...

I made myself a photo-storage box out of an old IKEA catalog!

Now I just need some wine! ;)
