After all the sketches and rough drafts I did for the invitations posted recently, I had a number of ideas floating around and turned some of them into cards! These two sets will be posted to Etsy tonight and tomorrow...

Tulip Invitations!

Tulip invitations are complete! More images and close-ups can be found on my Facebook page.

I made two different sets; one with three tulips and one with two. I have one set (10 invites) of each available for sale right now too! Contact me for pricing....text can be formatted and worded to your liking and tags are optional tied to upper left corner with ribbon for surprise invites.

Each invitation was hand painted by me and text will be printed directly on (the option to print text on a vellum overlay is always available too).
*Because each is an individual painting, variations will occur from one to another.

These are great for an anniversary party, a birthday party, and larger sets can even be created for wedding invitations. Little 'extras' can be made to match as well including place cards, thank you cards, favor tags, etc. Contact me if you are interested!

Yesterday proved to be quite a productive day: finished my brother's long overdue and very much belated birthday present, 'Chandler', (below) and nearly finished up the tulip invitations! Check back for final photos of those and some new projects...

Cards

I will be adding a new set of cards to Etsy tonight....

Just a simple design, pretty color, set of four. These can be easily reproduced as well as turned into a painting, invitation, and so on. They come with four envelopes tied together with a pretty ribbon! Pricing, size, shipping info can be found on Etsy.

One month in....

It's nice to finally have a blog set up for BecArt! You will find pictures of new work, postings about current work, and maybe even videos of the art process. Tonight I worked toward finishing painting invitations, here's a peek.....

...the final product will be 15 invitations, hand painted with watercolor on 90lb watercolor paper, text printed directly on, embellished tags attached with ribbon in the upper corner with a message to guests emphasizing that it's a surprise, and 15 soft white envelopes. More pictures will be posted when complete!
