After some thought and re-evaluation I have decided to branch out and create a second Etsy shop entirely devoted to selling my cards and invitations. Bec Art Design is up and running. Recent Sales

Recently, I sold two of my oil paintings! Both were inspired by vacations to Wisconsin as a kid. I have tons of ideas running through my head now for new paintings; so much inspiration I'm not sure where to start! My plan is to spend a great deal of time in the next couple of months working in oil, so be sure to check back occasionally for updated posts and pictures!

What is it? A bench!

As you may recall, back at the end of November I posted about a project I was working on. Well, though a little later than anticipated, it has been completed and is in it's home! A wonderful friend created a bench (yes folks, she is quite the talented woodworker! ;) ) and was looking to have a little decorative painting done to finish it up. She wanted to go with a nature theme, pine branches, a little birdie perhaps...

Here it is! I hope she has been enjoying it!

I have been so busy this season, having completed and shipped out close to 50 Pet Portrait Ornaments in just over a month!! Sure it's exciting, but I'm ready for a nap!
